7,131 toys donated this year to Nobles County Toys for Tots

The Nobles County Toys for Tots campaign was able to bring smiles to the faces of 1,573 children during the 2024 holiday season.

Dan and Caryn Harrington reported that a total of 7,131 toys were donated, helping to ensure that children in need throughout the county had a brighter holiday.

The Toys for Tots program serves as a vital part of the community’s efforts to support families struggling during the holidays. The 2024 campaign, which ran from Sept. 15 to Dec. 25, was made possible through the overwhelming support of local businesses, schools and countless volunteers who helped collect, sort and distribute toys to children in need.

Throughout the campaign, local businesses and organizations acted as drop-off points for toy donations, and many also hosted fundraising events and toy drives. Volunteers from all corners of the community helped to organize and distribute the toys, ensuring that every child in need received something special.

The Toys for Tots program continues to grow in its impact, reaching more families each year. Organizers are already making plans for the 2025 campaign.
