Big South all-conference girls tennis teams announced

The Big South Conference has released its all-conference teams for the just-completed 2024 girls tennis season.


St. Peter led the East Division with three representatives on its all-conference, and the Saints also had a pair of players also earn honorable mention honors. Waseca also had five players recognized, as two were named all-conference and three honorable mention. Closest to the immediate area, Fairmont had two players earn honors. Seventh-grader Allison Slama of the Cardinals was an all-conference choice, while senior Claire Brockmann was an honorable mention pick.


In the West Division, Marshall had three players — seniors Taylor DePover and Peyton Boeck and junior Emry Weller — named all-conference, while Justine Kirst of the Tigers was honorable mention. Luverne's Augusta Papik was recognized as all-conference, and four others — senior Corynn Oye and junior Addyson Mann, as well as Elizabeth Mulder and Hannah Kempema — were named as honorable mentions. Pipestone's all-conference choices were senior Alicia Haack and sophomore Jasmine Boeke, and junior Vivian Brockberg was honorable mention. As previously announced on Radio Works, Worthington's Hannah McNab earned honorable mention honors. St. James Area, which won the West Division team title, had four players on the all-conference team and three as honorable mentions.
