The Minnesota West Bluejay baseball team is scheduled to play its final two games of the regular season today at Iowa Lakes Community College. Minnesota West is currently in the midst of a six-game losing skid, including two losses at home Saturday to Rochester and two more Sunday at the Yellow Jackets.
On Saturday, the Bluejays lost game one by a score of 11-10. Minnesota West scored six times in the bottom of the sixth inning to take a 10-8 lead, but Rochester tallied three in the top of the seventh and then held on. The Bluejays were hurt by seven fielding errors.
Johnny Ramsey, John Perez and Takuto Usami each had a pair of hits for Minnesota West. Usami drove in three runs, Perez two and Ramsey one.
In Saturday's game two, the Yellow Jackets scored 11 runs in the sixth and earned a 14-2 triumph. That proved to be much different than Sunday's first matchup between the teams, as Rochester edged the Bluejays 1-0. Both teams got just four hits; Tucker Brandner pitched the whole game for the visitors and was the hard-luck loser.
In the second game Sunday, the Yellow Jackets defeated Minnesota West 4-1. The Bluejays got just four hits in that matchup as well, and Rochester's Jacob Trusner walked off the Jays with a two-out, three-run homer. Abe Paulzine threw a complete game for Minnesota West, which has a record of 14-26-1.

Additionally, the Worthington High boys tennis meet at Sioux Falls was postponed Monday. A rescheduled date has yet to be determined.
