The Minnesota West Bluejays swept a doubleheader Thursday in Norwalk, Iowa against Minnesota North College-Vermilion, winning the opening game 7-2 and then rolling to a 13-1 triumph in the nightcap.

In the first matchup, Haruta Endo, Ales Zhao and Eliecer Gonzalez each picked up a pair of hits and Johnny Ramsey homered. Keaton Husband earned a complete-game victory on the mound, allowing just four hits over seven innings.

The second game went just six innings. Ramsey had two hits — including another homer — and drove in six runs. Shahir Brahim had two hits of his own, and Tucker Brandner went the route pitching and surrendered just two hits and an unearned run.

The Bluejays, now 7-10, play another doubleheader today, as they'll host Minnesota State-Fergus Falls. The first game is set to start at 2 p.m.
