Boil advisory in Round Lake in effect for next week

The City of Round Lake will experience water outages periodically starting at 8 a.m. this Monday until Friday, Aug. 16.

The city's public works department will be replacing water valves and doing routine maintenance on others. City residents are advised to read the flyer that was included with this month's billing for more details about the boil advisory in effect during this timeframe.

Any water being used to cook, drink or brush teeth needs to be boiled at a rolling boil for one minute prior to use.
