Worthington weather was significantly drier than normal during the month of February, according to data compiled at the Worthington Wastewater Treatment Plant. High temperatures, meanwhile, were a bit colder than the average, and overnight lows much chillier than normal.
The average high temperature in Worthington in February was 25.3 degrees, or two degrees cooler than the average February high of 27.3. The warmest high of the month, 56 degrees, came during the 24-hour period that ended at 7 a.m. Feb. 26. The month of February wrapped up with five straight days above 50.
The average low in Worthington in February was 3.8 degrees, or 5.8 degrees colder than the average of 9.6. The lowest temperature reading came on Feb. 18 at minus-20; it was minus-19 on Feb. 12 and Feb. 19.
Worthington received just .15 inches of precipitation during the month of February, a total that was .67 of an inch less than normal. There have just been just .16 inches of precip this year, which is 1.37 inches less than average.
The average high for the first two months of 2025 is 25.9 degrees, a bit warmer than the average of 25. The average low for this year thus far is 4.1 degrees, compared to 7.5.
