Two individuals from Marietta, Georgia, were arrested on multiple charges Monday in Osceola County, Iowa.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Dominique Demetrice Farrar, 30, and Silk Lesure, 27, were arrested following a traffic stop on Iowa 60 south of 130th Street. Both were charged with alleged failure to affix drug tax stamp and controlled substance violation (both Class D felonies), possession of controlled Substance-marijuana 1st offense (a serious misdemeanor) and possession of drug paraphernalia (a simple misdemeanor).
Additionally, Farrar was also charged with allegedly operating while under the influence-first offense (a serious misdemeanor).
Both Farrar and Lesure were booked into the Osceola County Jail and are being held on a bond of $5,000 each.
