A Heron Lake woman was transported to Windom Area Health following a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2020 Buick Envision operated by Agnes Veronica Lohse, 68, of Heron Lake was traveling north on Minnesota 60, and a 2016 Kia Forte operated by Hilda Ortega Javier, 26, of Windom was eastbound on Sixth Street when the vehicles collided in the Windom intersection. The crash was reported at 1:21 p.m. Tuesday.
Lohse sustained a non-life-threatening injury, while Javier was uninjured. Assisting at the scene were the Windom Ambulance, Fire Department and Police Department, as well as the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office.
