Construction on Interstate 90 from the South Dakota border to east of Beaver Creek is nearly complete, and lane restrictions are expected to be removed later this week, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation

The project, which began in early June, included a concrete pavement overlay on the eastbound and westbound lanes and reconstruction of shoulders. The project also included the extension of outside ramp shoulders for truck parking, guardrail repair and improved drainage with the cleaning, repair and replacement of culverts and pipes.

Duininck, Inc. was awarded the project with a bid of $22,483,064.90.
