Rylie Cother, a sophomore on the Jackson County Central girls track and field team, is this week’s Radio Works Athlete of the Week! Cother, a star on the basketball court this past season who enjoyed a school-record 53-point game in February, was victorious in three different events during Friday’s Fairmont Quadrangular meet. She captured first place in both the high jump and long jump while also earning the top spot in the 100 meter hurdles.
The Radio Works Athlete of the Week is being brought to you by Leading Edge Credit Union, federally insured by NCUA with locations in Worthington, Jackson, Fulda and Windom. Athletes honored will be announced Monday mornings on each of our Radio Works stations. Each recipient will be recognized with a Radio Works Athlete of the Week T-shirt as well as recognition on our social media pages. Athletes will be recognized from schools that include Worthington, Round Lake-Brewster, Jackson County Central, Heron Lake-Okabena, Fulda, Sibley-Ocheyedan, Adrian-Ellsworth and Minnesota West.
