The Minnesota West Lady Jays held on to the No. 1 position in this week's NJCAA Women's Basketball Poll.

The Lady Jays won their only game last week — a come-from-behind 72-68 victory over sixth-ranked Anoka-Ramsey — on Wednesday at the Center for Health & Wellness to move to 14-7 on the season; they're still unbeaten in MCAC South Division play. Rochester is still at No. 2, followed by another Minnesota rival — Northland — at No. 3.

In the men's Division III basketball poll, Minnesota West is back in the rankings at No. 13 after enjoying a 2-0 week. The Bluejays, now 19-6 overall and 5-4 in MCAC South play, were triumphant in a pair of home games this past week, beating Anoka-Ramsey 63-57 Wednesday night and edging then-No. 1 Riverland 70-69 Saturday afternoon.

Riverland went from 23-0 to 23-2 this past week, and as a result dropped all the way from No. 1 to No. 10. Dutchess Community College, with a 20-0 overall record, now owns the top spot and is followed by Herkimer College, Mohawk Valley Community College and Minnesota State of Fergus Falls.

Minnesota West's basketball teams play Wednesday at St. Cloud Tech and Saturday at Rochester. In the previous Lady Jays-Yellow Jackets matchup this season, Minnesota West won 64-60 last month and took over the No. 1 spot in the national rankings the following Monday.
