Aiden Lorenzen, a junior at Fulda High School who competes on the Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda track and field team, is this week’s Radio Works Athlete of the Week! Lorenzen made sure the Coyotes will have a representative at next weekend’s Minnesota Class A Meet by taking second place in the pole vault with a personal-best effort of 12 feet 5 inches in Saturday’s Section 2A meet in Mankato. Lorenzen, who also participated in football and wrestling this past school year, will be the lone HL-O/F athlete going to state track and field.
The Radio Works Athlete of the Week is being brought to you by Leading Edge Credit Union, federally insured by NCUA with locations in Worthington, Jackson, Fulda and Windom. Athletes honored will be announced Monday mornings on each of our Radio Works stations. Each recipient will be recognized with a Radio Works Athlete of the Week T-shirt as well as recognition on our social media pages. Athletes will be recognized from schools that include Worthington, Round Lake-Brewster, Jackson County Central, Heron Lake-Okabena, Fulda, Sibley-Ocheyedan, Adrian-Ellsworth and Minnesota West.
