A Jasper man is dead as the result of a Thursday evening two-vehicle crash in Rock County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2023 Ford F-150 operated by Grant Ira Crawford, 47, of Jasper was traveling northbound on Minnesota 23 and a 2015 Chevy Impala operated by Jayson Lynn Delf, 21, of Hardwick was southbound. The vehicles collided near the intersection with 101st Street. The crash was reported at 10:44 p.m. Thursday.
Crawford died at the scene of the crash. Delf was transported to Avera Emergency with a non-life-threatening injury.
The Rock County Sheriff's Office, Luverne EMS, Beaver Creek Fire Department, South Dakota Highway Patrol and Avera Flight assisted at the scene.
