Max Tylke captured his second straight GreatLIFE Worthington Labor Day Classic Tournament on Monday, shooting a round of 72 to defeat three rivals who all finished in a tie for second.
Tylke birdied both No. 8 and No. 9 to conclude his front nine at 34, which had him two shots ahead of Stuart Stein, four ahead of Jon Burns and six ahead of Will Mulder. Three holes later, though, Tylke was just two shots of Mulder, who eagled No. 12 while Tylke recorded a bogey. Stein also birdied 12 to draw even with Tylke; a birdie there from Burns also got him to within two strokes of the lead.
Tylke, though, wound up three strokes ahead of each of his rivals in the end, concluding a four-day annual tradition at the Worthington golf course.
