Nobles Cooperative Electric continues its commitment to the community through the Operation Round Up program. This initiative allows members to round up their monthly electric bills, with the accumulated funds distributed to local organizations.
In the recent funding cycle, $21,000 was awarded to support a diverse range of projects. These include:
Adrian Independent School District; Beaver Creek Archery; Buffalo Ridge Young Marines; Ellsworth Public School; Fulda Elementary Library; Murray County Central Football; Murray County Central Little Rebels Preschool; SW Foundation for Innovation in Education; City of Chandler; Cultural Awareness Organization/International Festival; Murray County Classic Draft Horse Show; Nobles County Historical Society; Brewster Senior Dining; Murray County Early Childhood; Nobles County Community Services; University of Minnesota Extension; Worthington Area YMCA; Chandler Area Quilters; Christ Lutheran Church, Slayton; IHM Quilting Group, Currie; Lake Sarah Quilters of Garvin: Sillerud Lutheran Church Quilters; Westminster Presbyterian Piecemakers; and Nobles County Toys for Tots.
