Nobles Cooperative Electric warns of scam

Nobles Cooperative Electric is warning its members to beware of scams within its service territory.

The cooperative has received reports that members are being contacted by an individual representing themselves as an employee of Nobles Cooperative Electric demanding immediate payment of a supposedly overdue balance or the power will be shut off. This is not Nobles Cooperative Electric.

Scammers typically stress the need for members to act quickly. The cooperative strongly urges members to protect their credit card and checking account numbers, account user names, passwords and Social Security numbers. If you receive such a call, do not give out any personal or financial information.
