Nobles County urges cooperation with flood efforts

The following is a notice from Nobles County Emergency Management:

Please stay off of the township roads unless it is absolutely necessary to be on them as a resident of the road. Even though the water has gone down in some locations, the roads are not safe to drive on.

Please do not be fishing off the banks or locations missing culverts. Please avoid swimming, kayaking and cannoning down the water running through the township roads. There are very strong currents running through the ditches that can cause very dangerous situations.

Please do not take the cones and barricades marking the road damages. Our townships need them to block off damaged and dangerous areas.
