One injured in I-90 car-vs.-cow collision

A Jackson woman was injured Saturday when the vehicle she was driving collided with a cow on Interstate 90.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2017 GMC Terrain operated by Rhonda Gee Fowler, 52, of Jackson was westbound on I-90 near milepost 127 in Faribault County when it collided with the cow. The crash took place at 8:52 p.m. Saturday.

Fowler was taken to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries. The Frost Fire and Ambulance, Faribault County Sheriff's Office and Blue Earth Police Department assisted at the scene.
