Online storm spotter classes set for later this month

The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has announced some online options replacing the remaining in-person sessions for storm spotter classes that were cancelled due to budget cuts.

One in-person classes had been scheduled for Thursday in Milford, while another was set for April 10 in Jackson.

Two different online versions are being offered, including one at 6 p.m. April 28 and another at 1 p.m. April 30. To register for either online class, visit www.weather.gov/fsd/SevereWeatherAwareness2025?.
