The deadline to submit applications to Nobles Cooperative Electric's Operation Round Up program is March 1.
Through Operation Round Up, Nobles Cooperative Electric members support their neighbors — one penny, nickel, dime and quarter at a time. This voluntary program allows members to round up their electric bills to the nearest dollar, with nearly 60 percent choosing to participate. Collectively, they contribute more than $2,000 each month, creating a meaningful impact in the communities they call home.
These donations are placed in a trust fund and distributed twice a year by the Nobles-Murray Rural Electric Trust Board. Since 2001, more than $549,300 has been awarded to local organizations, proving that small contributions can make a big difference.
