FORWARD Worthington is bringing back a local winter tradition.
The Red Hot Chili Cookoff will take place on Saturday, Jan. 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Worthington Elks Lodge. The event is open to everybody, and all are invited to bring their best chili recipe for a chance to win gift cards from Hy-Vee and Fareway. There will also be a People's Choice Award, so everyone gets to vote for their favorite chili.
People may enter by calling FORWARD Worthington at (507) 372-2919 or stopping by the JBS Field House, located at 700 Second Ave., to sign up. Entry is free with receipts from your designated store (either Hy-Vee or Fareway).
