Rock County crash in wintry conditions injures two

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in wintry conditions last week on Interstate 90.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2005 Ford F250 operated by Fatima Lorie Langreck, 27, of Bridgewater, S.D. was traveling eastbound on I-90 when it left the roadway and struck a guardrail. A 2018 Kia Soul operated by Anselmo Wilson Gramajo Perez, 33, of Austin, Texas, was also eastbound, and the two vehicles collided. The crash took place at 1:43 p.m. Wednesday in snow/ice conditions near milepost 4 in Beaver Creek Township.

Langreck and a passenger, Cory Briant Langreck, 34, also of Bridgewater, were both taken to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls with non-life-threatening injuries. A 5-year-old male passenger and a 9-year-old passenger were both unhurt. Perez and two passengers in the Kia were also uninjured.

The Rock County Sheriff's Office and the Sanford Luverne Ambulance assisted at the scene.
