Extensive flooding is forcing an early end to the racing season at a northwest Iowa track.

Officials at Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids say the remainder of the 2024 season there has been suspended. Large portions of the track remained underwater recently, and a fence at the facility was destroyed.
