Three returning starters for the Jackson County Central football team received college offers this past week.
Ian Titterington, a starting linebacker for the Huskies, received his first official offer from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. Additionally, Ben Dahlin, who plays wide receiver and cornerback for JCC, and Clay Malchow, who sees action at running back and safety, each received offers from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Dahlin and Malchow also have experience returning kicks,
Titterington, Dahlin and Malchow are each entering their senior season with the Huskies.

The West Lyon Elementary Gym will be the site for a wrestling clinic next week.
The Easton Fleshman Wrestling Clinic is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 10 and Thursday, July 11 in Inwood, Iowa. It’s open to boy and girl wrestlers in grades K-12.
