Three injured in Sunday crash near Mountain Lake

Three individuals were injured as a result of a Sunday crash in Cottonwood County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2014 Toyota Corolla operated by Jeffery Robert Fouch, 47, of Worthington was westbound on Minnesota 60 and a 2013 GMC Terrain operated by a 16-year-old female was southbound on 570th Avenue when the vehicles collided in the intersection. The crash took place at 2:04 p.m. Sunday.

Two of the three passengers in the GMC — Dominga Tomas Juarez, 40, of Windom and a 13-year-old juvenile from Windom — were both transported to Windom Area Health with non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the Corolla, Erica Rae Fouch, 41, of Worthington, was also transported to Windom Area Health with non-life-threatening injuries. The Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office and the Mountain Lake Police Department, Fire Department and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
