Fanuel Wolday, a junior on the Worthington High School boys country team, is this week’s Radio Works Athlete of the Week! Wolday got his season off to an outstanding start Monday when he won the varsity 5K race at the Marshall Cross Country Invitational with a time of 16:13, finishing 30 seconds ahead of his closest challenger.
The Radio Works Athlete of the Week is being brought to you by Leading Edge Credit Union, federally insured by NCUA with locations in Worthington, Jackson, Fulda and Windom. Each recipient will be recognized with a Radio Works Athlete of the Week T-shirt as well as recognition on our social media pages. Athletes will be recognized from schools that include Worthington, Round Lake-Brewster, Jackson County Central, Heron Lake-Okabena, Fulda, Sibley-Ocheyedan, Adrian-Ellsworth and Minnesota West.
