The Worthington High School gymnastics team won another dual meet Thursday night as it defeated visiting New Ulm, 138.325-130.325.
The Trojans' Brooklyn Dykstra was the winner in the all-around competition, compiling a composite score of 35.25. Teammates Lucy Thier and Marley Phomsatry were fourth and fifth in the all-around.
Dykstra was first among all gymnasts on the bars and on the floor. Dykstra posted a score of 8.775 on the vault, the same as fellow Trojan Jada Milbrath. WHS' Jordis Weber and Kenadie Thiner were fourth and fifth in that event. On the floor, Dykstra earned a score of 9.175 for first place, with the Trojans' Thier second, Thiner fourth and Isabella Lazzu fifth.
On the vault, Worthington's Olivia Bullerman was victorious with a score of 9.15. Lazzu was second, Phomsatry third, Thier fourth and Dykstra fifth.
On the beam, Dykstra was second for the Trojans behind New Ulm's Sophia Berger, who won with a score of 8.8. Thier placed third and Weber fourth for WHS.
Worthington will complete in a multi-team meet in New Prague on Saturday.

In boys basketball, Worthington dropped its sixth consecutive game as it was beaten at St. Peter, 72-52. The Trojans will play a game Saturday at Madison, S.D.
