The Worthington Trojans volleyball team traveled to Spirit Lake on Monday night and were defeated by the Indians 3-1. Game scores were 25-18, 23-25, 25-21, 25-22.
Jayden Spartz led WHS with 17 kills and 20 digs. Saige Scheepstra added eight kills as well as seven ace serves for the Trojans, who are now 6-7 on the season. Kamryn Olson contributed 15 digs, and Natya Khamphanh passed for 27 set assists and had an ace serve.
Worthington will host Luverne on Thursday night.
