Two hurt in Monday crash on Minnesota 60

Two people were transported to an area hospital as a precaution following a Monday crash on Minnesota 60 in Jackson County.


According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2003 Toyota Tundra pulling an enclosed trailer and operated by Kirk Gene Baker, 42, of El Cajon, California was traveling westbound when it left the roadway in icy conditions and rolled onto the median. The crash was reported at 10:08 a.m. Monday.


A 2-year-old female along with Ashlee Marie Kirby, 30, both of Boulvard, California, were taken to Windom Area Health with non-life-threatening injuries. The Minnesota Department of Transportation, Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office and Windom Police, Fire and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
