A Windom man has been arrested in relation to a string of thefts, according to a press release from the Windom Police Department.
Eduardo Rodriguez, 49, was arrested Wednesday, the press release said. A search warrant was obtained the day before his arrest, and stolen items were located within Rodriguez’s residence. On the day of his arrest, it was reported to the Windom Police Department that a vehicle has been stolen from a Windom resident as well as a home burglarized. Rodriguez was in custody at the time of the report.
A second search warrant was obtained Thursday, and more stolen items were found in Rodriguez’s residence as well as documentation for the vehicle that had been stolen. The vehicle was still outstanding, the press release said.
Rodriguez was being held on the following charges: second-degree burglary; motor vehicle theft; theft of property; felon convicted of a crime of violence-firearm violation; possession of ammunition/any firearm-previous felony conviction; and receiving stolen property.
