Woman injured in Saturday afternoon I-90 collision

A Worthington woman was injured in a Saturday afternoon crash on Interstate 90.

 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2021 Toyota Corolla operated by Dakota Lee Thorn, 26, of Windom and a 2022 Freightliner semi operated by Ruby Ruella Reed, 62, of Kelso, Wash., were both westbound on I-90 when they collided. The crash took place at 2:43 p.m. Saturday near milepost 23.

 

A passenger in the Corolla – Mykaela Taylor Randolph, 24, of Worthington, sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was transported to Sanford Health. Both Thorn and Reed were uninjured in the collision.

 

The Adrian Police Department, EMS and Fire & Rescue as well as the Nobles County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
