The Worthington Police Department on Friday afternoon arrested a pair of individuals on controlled substance- and firearms-related charges.
According to a press release issued Saturday by WPD Deputy Chief Nathan Grimmius, the police department's Emergency Response Unit (ERU), with assistance from the Nobles County Sheriff's Office, executed a search warrant Friday in the 1500 block of Second Avenue in Worthington.
As a result, two individuals -- Patrick David Yackley, 65, and Phouang Paul Somphanthabansouk, 61, were taken into custody for controlled substance- and firearms-related charges.
