The Worthington Regional Health Care Foundation has granted the nonprofit Rebuilding Together Minnesota $10,000 to make necessary home upgrades for deserving Worthington homeowners.
A check presentation took place Wednesday afternoon in Worthington to celebrate the investment in the community to keep residents living safely in their homes longer through enhancements such as accessibility ramps, fall protection solutions and other upgrades.
The Worthington Regional Health Care Foundation focuses on improving the local community through strategic grant-making with partners who can make a lasting impact on the quality of life for its residents. Rebuilding Together Minnesota has been improving homes throughout Nobles, Cottonwood, Jackson and Pipestone counties since opening a southwest Minnesota office in Windom more than five years ago.
